A three-part series for the Prison Radio Association’s National Prison Radio, on alternatives to custody for womxn in the UK, set in Brighton, Manchester and Gloucester, and presented by Brenda Birungi.
Brenda and I travelled across the UK to three Women’s Centres to make this series for NPR. This series was to be broadcast within prisons, aimed at informing womxn who were coming up for release about the support they could receive from their local woman’s centre. BUT, they were broadcast in men’s prisons too, and on a public facing podcast, We Are Straightline, so they also had to be entertaining in their own right. This was a fun challenge.
